This is me!

I’m Joan and I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My husband and I have decided to quit our jobs and move to China to teach at an international school called Maple Leaf International School in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, P.R.China. Brian, my husband, is also a teacher and we both received jobs at the same school. We are leaving on August 18, 2019. We will fly from Calgary to Vancouver and then onto Nanjing. This will be a 12.5 hour flight. We will be met by our new principal and administrative assistant once we arrive. How am I feeling? I am excited, nervous, scared, but most of all looking forward to learning about the Chinese culture!
